Burning man 2025
an intentional medicine camp providing peer support services on playa
8:45 & C
Who is Aya the tiger?
Aya the Tiger is a first-time theme camp rooted in deep reverence for plant medicine, spiritual growth, and peer support. We are a circle of therapists, medical providers, and medicine keepers who come together to serve the playa with open hearts and steady hands.
Our name evokes the fierce compassion of the jungle—Aya, as in Ayahuasca, the sacred vine of the Amazon, and the Tiger, a symbol of protection, presence, and raw truth. Together, Aya the Tiger honors the wild, the wise, and the healing.
Founded by longtime Burners and former Zendo Project volunteers, our camp builds on traditions of harm reduction and sacred service. We are offering peer support services throughout the week, holding space for emotional processing, integration, and grounded connection for anyone navigating challenging experiences.
This is our inaugural burn as a camp, and we are intentionally capping membership at 25 to maintain intimacy, safety, and cohesion within our crew. In addition to peer support, we’ll be offering daily practices to nourish body and spirit, including yoga, meditation, and sacred tobacco ceremonies. Expect moments of stillness, moments of laughter, and a strong backbone of community care.
We are grateful to already be known to the Burning Man organization, and we aim to continue building trust through integrity, humility, and heart-led service.
Aya the Tiger is not here to fix, rescue, or teach—we are here to walk alongside you, with presence and respect, in the ever-unfolding mystery of the burn.

How to Join Aya the Tiger
Ready to be part of our first burn as a camp? Here’s how to get started:

After reviewing your form, someone from our core team will contact you to schedule a short call. This is a chance for us to get to know each other, answer your questions, and ensure mutual alignment with our camp’s mission and vibe.Secure Your Spot
If it feels like a good fit on both sides, we’ll invite you to join the camp officially. You’ll submit your $1,000 camp dues via Venmo to hold your spot.Join Our Camp Planning Calls
Once you're in, you’ll be added to our internal communications and invited to join Zoom planning meetings. This is where we’ll coordinate roles, prepare the build, and co-create the magic.
Aya the Tiger is capping our camp at 25 members for this first year, so space is limited. We’re curating a tight-knit, service-oriented group. If you feel called—fill out the form, and let’s connect.
